Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)

Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, is a safe, mild sedation option offered at Prairie Dental in Edmond, Oklahoma. Dr. Bryan Bumpas uses nitrous oxide to help anxious patients relax during dental procedures.

Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask placed over your nose. It takes effect within minutes, creating a feeling of calm relaxation while you remain fully conscious and able to communicate. The effects wear off quickly after the mask is removed.
